Despite taking great care in building your new kit, it doesn't work. We've all been there, and it can be very frustrating, particularly when support is poor or not forthcoming. Don't worry, with our troubleshooting service we guarantee to be able to get your kit up and running, if not we will gladly offer a full refund in exchange for your non working kit. Our support scheme is outlined below. Please note that our preferred contact method is email.

Check our Support Pages for the latest information on your product. We will post any new information relating to design changes, common problems and most importantly solutions here.

If you do not find an answer on our support pages we can be contacted at support@cumbriadesigns.co.uk . Be sure to identify the kit to which your problem relates and provide us with a full description of the symptoms. We will endeavor to respond by the next working day with suggested causes and recommended actions. 

Repair Service

In the rare event that our other support services don't solve your problem, we offer a repair service. There is a flat rate handling charge of 10 for this service. We will investigate the cause and make a repair if this can be done without replacing any major components. If the cause is found to be due to damage to a major component such as a processor or LCD module, we will contact you with an additional replacement part cost before carrying out the repair. Our standard shipping charges apply for the return of the unit. If the cause is found to be due to an 'out of box' component malfunction, we will replace the part under warranty and waive the handling and shipping charges. All charges associated with repairs are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

Before returning an item to us you MUST contact us beforehand to agree a return date.

All returned items must be securely packaged and protected to prevent damage during transit. Returns are shipped at your risk, we will not accept liability for any damage or losses incurred during shipment to us. 

We will contact you once the repair has been made and advise you of the repair price. The link below may be used to pass us your payment details. Once payment has been received the repaired item will be returned by first class post/airmail.
